Geoinformation for a smarter World

At the three-day CONFERENCE, around 100 speakers will report on the contribution geodesy and geoinformation are making to climate protection, the digitalization of the construction industry and the resilience of our cities. The program includes technological trends such as block chain, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Smart Mapping shows official cartography in upheaval. Keynotes and lectures will focus on on standardization in digital planning and construction and developments in Building Information Modeling (BIM). The challenges and requirements of cities are the focus of the CONFERENCE in the Smart City theme area. Climate protection and adaptation to climate change will deal with the roadmap for the climate and environmental policy challenges of our time – worldwide, at EU level, but especially at municipal level. A particular focus is the “EU Green Deal – Challenges for Land Management”.
