To participate, any applicant must be a natural or a legal person of an EU Member State or European Economic Area (EEA), European Neighbouring Countries (ENP), South/East countries or other countries with which the EU has space dialogues and cooperation: USA, Canada, Latin America, Africa, Gulf Cooperation Countries, Kazahstan, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand.

The 2021 Organiser

Vigo Free Trade Zone Consortium
The Vigo Free Trade Zone Consortium is a public institution that has been fostering international trade and promoting the Galician economy since 1947. It is the main developer of business parks in its area, providing enterprises with the best services. In 2019, the 665 enterprises in the Vigo Free Trade Zone business park network generated over 29% of the total gross added value for the metropolitan area of Vigo and employed over 22,500 people.

University of Vigo
Its three campuses in Ourense, Pontevedra, and Vigo offer degree programmes in the fields of science, the humanities, technology, and sociolegal studies. These are distributed across nearly 30 centres where research groups also carry out R&D activities. A network of the institution’s own centres rounds off the University of Vigo’s research infrastructure, which came in 15th in a ranking of Spanish universities based on scientific production.

atlanTTic Research Center
The broad experience of its researchers covers a wide range of research areas in the ICT sector, such as digital communications, wireless networks, satellite communications, remote sensing, signal processing, bioengineering, and many others. AtlanTIC is also involved in several national and European R&D projects and industry contracts, thus producing an interesting combination of scientific excellence and a capacity for transferring technology to the market.
