Eligibility

To participate, any applicant must be a natural or a legal person of an EU Member State or European Economic Area (EEA), European Neighbouring Countries (ENP), South/East countries or other countries with which the EU has space dialogues and cooperation: USA, Canada, Latin America, Africa, Gulf Cooperation Countries, Kazahstan, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand.

Fundación madri+d works very closely with its network of university, incubation, science, and entrepreneurial institutions to improve the conditions for science-based entrepreneurship. It allows new companies access to research and training programmes and to work in cooperation with all agents of its regional system to optimise resources, work with transparency and share responsibility. Its network is the foundation’s great asset!

The 2021 Partners

ESA Business Incubation Centre (BIC) Madrid Region

ESA BIC Madrid Region is a Business Incubation Centre of ESA (European Space Agency) and the Region of Madrid. It is coordinated by Fundación madri+d. The ESA BIC provides funding as well as business and technical assistance to entrepreneurs using space technology for general non-space scientific, industrial and commercial applications or using non-space technology in products and services to be used in the space sector. The ESA BIC Madrid Region is co-financed by ESA and by the Regional Ministry of Economic Affairs, Employment and Competitiveness. Through the Spanish Delegation at the ESA (CDTI), funding from ESA has been guaranteed. The partner institutions are as follows: Madrid Aerospace Cluster; the Spanish Official Association of Telecommunication Engineers (COIT) and the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA).

Business Angels Network madri+d

Business Angels Network madri+d is a specialised investor network that facilitates the search for financing for companies during their first years of life based on technology and science in the Community of Madrid.
BAN madri+d contributes to consolidating a more competitive business fabric, drawing on the experience of the madri+d Foundation in the field of R&D management and in the collaboration of university and scientific institutions in the region.

madri+d mentoring network is an international benchmark of mentoring for entrepreneurs, made up of entrepreneurs and professionals with a recognised track record who facilitate the path for scientific and technological entrepreneurs, helping them to consolidate the success of their innovative initiatives.
With complete confidentiality on both sides and a practical approach, it facilitates meetings between entrepreneurs and mentors, project presentations, the networking of contacts, and seminars, favouring the growth of the business fabric of the Community of Madrid.
