Furthermore, the winner will be able to apply for admission to the European Space Agency’s Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) Bavaria, which provides startups with financial and technical support at three branch offices: Oberpfaffenhofen, Ottobrunn, or Nürnberg. Upon successful approval the winner will be eligible for an additional EUR 25,000 in incentive funding from ESA, as well as an optional loan from one of the cooperating local banks

Description of 1st partner (max. 700 signs incl. blanks): ESA Business Incubation Centre (BIC) Bavaria promotes companies with disruptive products and digital businesses in areas like robotics, mobile, mobility, automotive, aviation, satellites etc. At its three Bavarian locations, Oberpfaffenhofen, Ottobrunn and Nuremberg, startups highly benefit from the direct access to space technologies, expert advice and technical facilities. Since 2004, ESA BIC Bavaria – managed by AZO - supported to date more than 155 startups with an annual turnover of round about EUR 150 million in 2018, creating more than 2,000 high-tech jobs in Bavaria and involving the amount of more than EUR 50 million venture capital in 2018.
