Fundación madri+d works very closely with its network of university, incubation, science, and entrepreneurial institutions to improve the conditions for science-based entrepreneurship. It allows new companies access to research and training programmes and to work in cooperation with all agents of its regional system to optimise resources, work with transparency and share responsibility. Its network is the foundation’s great asset!
Description of the 2020 Partners
ESA Business Incubation Centre (BIC) Madrid Region
ESA BIC Madrid Region is a Business Incubation Centre of ESA (European Space Agency) and the Region of Madrid. It is coordinated by Fundación madri+d. The ESA BIC provides funding as well as business and technical assistance to entrepreneurs using space technology for general non-space scientific, industrial and commercial applications or using non-space technology in products and services to be used in the space sector. The ESA BIC Madrid Region is co-financed by ESA and by the Regional Ministry of Economic Affairs, Employment and Competitiveness. Through the Spanish Delegation at the ESA (CDTI), funding from ESA has been guaranteed. The partner institutions are as follows: Madrid Aerospace Cluster; the Spanish Official Association of Telecommunication Engineers (COIT) and the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA).
The Official College of Telecommunications Engineers (COIT)
The Official College of Telecommunications Engineers (COLEGIO OFICIAL DE INGENIEROS DE TELECOMUNICACIÓN - COIT) is a national publicly registered entity with more than 12,000 members, whose main goals are the organisation of how telecommunications engineers perform their profession, the exclusive representation of said profession and defending the professional interests of its members, while promoting the advancement and availability of all techniques of said profession. COIT has been undertaking a multitude of efforts since its inception in 1967, which aim at reinforcing the professional competence of the engineers and which makes it a fundamental instrument in the current and future development of the Information Society and telecommunications.

Business Angels Network madri + d is a specialised investor network that facilitates the search for financing for companies during their first years of life based on technology and science in the Community of Madrid.
BAN madri + d contributes to consolidating a more competitive business fabric, drawing on the experience of the madri + d Foundation in the field of R&D management and in the collaboration of university and scientific institutions in the region.

madri + d mentoring network is an international benchmark of mentoring for entrepreneurs, made up of entrepreneurs and professionals with a recognised track record who facilitate the path for scientific and technological entrepreneurs, helping them to consolidate the success of their innovative initiatives.
With complete confidentiality on both sides and a practical approach, it facilitates meetings between entrepreneurs and mentors, project presentations, the networking of contacts, and seminars, favouring the growth of the business fabric of the Community of Madrid.
