Visual Sweden

Visual Sweden is an initiative based in Östergötland, Sweden, oriented at promoting innovation and regional growth within the visualisation and image analysis fields. Central stakeholders are Linköping University, Region Östergötland, Linköping and Norrköping municipalities. Long-term funding is provided by Vinnova, Sweden’s innovation authority.

The core of Visual Sweden consists of 70 small and large-sized companies developing solutions based on visualisation and/or image analysis. Many of the companies are spinoffs from the advanced research environments in the region, such as the Visualization Center C, the centre for medical image science visualisation and the computer vision laboratory.
