MALO is an application that aims to improve orientation in underground transportation with fast and accurate GNSS maps. The solution integrates the Galileo system with Bluetooth mesh-network technology using pseudolites, which are ground-based transceivers that augment GNSS signals. The app can be utilised by all smartphone users with access to Galileo GNSS and offers a userfriendly design. Through the improved accuracy of Galileo, MALO can deliver faster, more precise localisation performance compared to competing systems.
